23 Mini Storage is a brand new self storage facility on Whitmore Lake Road in Brighton, MI. We opened in 2025. Every unit, gate, slab, driveway, and camera went in fresh. There is no old equipment, no aging buildings, no surprise issues from a previous operator.
We exist because Brighton, Whitmore Lake, Hamburg Township, and the rest of Livingston County deserved a storage facility that was actually built for the way people in this area live. Boats, RVs, lake gear, the second car, the seasonal swap, the family business inventory, the move that did not line up with a closing. Storage in this part of Michigan has historically been older facilities, narrow drive lanes, half lit lots, and rate hikes mid year. We built the opposite.

How we built the facility.
Three things were non negotiable when we built 23 Mini Storage. Brand new everything. Every unit, door, slab, driveway, gate, light, and camera is from 2025. Brand new doors do not jam, brand new slabs do not crack and let water in, brand new gates do not glitch out. Wide drive lanes. A boat owner with a 24 foot trailer should not be doing three point turns in the lot. We laid out the drive lanes wide enough that you can pull a truck and trailer through without thinking. Most older facilities did not plan for boats and RVs. We did. The only combo drive up climate controlled units in the area. Most climate controlled storage is inside a hallway in a multi story building. We built drive up climate controlled units in this market for the first time. Pull right up to your unit, open the door, the unit itself is climate controlled.

We are at 10710 Whitmore Lake Road in Brighton, just off Grand River Avenue and a few minutes from I-96 and US-23. Our regular customers come from Brighton MI, Whitmore Lake MI (under 2 miles), Hamburg Township and the chain of eight lakes (5 miles), Pinckney MI (10 miles via M-36), South Lyon MI (13 miles via I-96), Howell MI, and Hartland MI. If you live anywhere in Livingston County or northern Oakland County, we are usually the closest brand new secure storage option to you.
